Liam Twigger (Managing Director)

  • Over 25 years’ experience in investment banking and corporate finance including the establishment of Macquarie Bank’s Bullion and Commodities division in Perth in 1995.
  • Previously Head of Macquarie Bank’s and then Bankers Trust’s investment banking in Western Australia.
  • As founder of PCF in 1999, Liam oversees all of PCF’s businesses and is actively involved in corporate finance and advisory mandates.
  • Liam is the Chairperson of Solgold plc (LSE) an emerging world-class copper developer, Chairperson of Lunnon Metals Ltd and a Non-Executive Director of Gold Corporation (The Perth Mint).
   

Mike Sperinck (Technical Director)

  • An experienced mining professional and geologist with over 30 years’ experience in the mining industry.
  • Founder and managing director of Luiri Gold, a Zambian gold developer, which included listing on the TSX-V in 2006 and then ASX in 2009 identifying a +800koz resource during this time.
  • Previously a consulting resource geologist with RSG Global which included completion of resource estimates, bankable due diligence studies and technical audits worldwide.
  • Previously part of Randgold Resources’ executive team which oversaw the progressing of the Morila project from discovery to +5Moz gold mine in a four year timeframe.
   

Graeme Testar Director at PCF Capital

Graeme Testar (Corporate Finance Director)

  • Responsible for PCF’s project finance and capital market mandates.
  • Previously managed the finance function of Mid West iron ore mining group, Murchison Metals and supporting its plan to develop the ~A$7 billion Oakajee Port and Rail infrastructure project.
  • Previously Group Treasurer at WestNet Infrastructure Group managing finance and treasury functions including a regulated gas distribution market and the rail business of Babcock & Brown infrastructure fund.
  • 8 years as Divisional Director of treasury group Oakvale Capital including national risk advisory and treasury covering mining, manufacturing, utility and retail organisations throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
   

Callum Twigger (Senior Manager)

  • Previously worked as a solicitor in leading WA firms advising on M&A, capital markets, debt, insolvency, and company governance with a focus on the resources sector.
  • Vice-Chair of the WA Mining Club Young Professionals, Western Australia's largest resource sector association for young professionals.
  • Bachelor of Law (Honours) from Notre Dame University; Masters Degree in Journalism/Arts and Bachelors Degree in Arts (History/Communications) from University of Western Australia.
  • Prior experience as a journalist and editor for newspapers, websites and magazines.
